City Police arrested many people for not wearing face masks during the ongoing Lockdown

GUWAHATI: The City Police arrested many people who came out from their homes without wearing face masks during the ongoing lockdown on Thursday. The police arrested a total of 137 persons on Wednesday on the same charge. Till filing of this report on Thursday, the Bharalumukh police arrested 26 persons, followed by 24 by Fatasil police, 13 each by Chandmari and Noonmati police, 12 each by Gorchuk and Jalukbari, 10 by Azara police and 6 by Hatigaon police. The Jalukbari police on Thursday seized 47 two-wheelers, followed by 32 by Azara police.
