Cleanliness Drives 'Shramdaan' in NF Railway for Gandhi Jayanti

GUWAHATI: As a mark of respect to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on the auspicious occasion of his 150th birth anniversary, NF Railway, Construction Organisation launched a special cleanliness drives“ Shramdaan” on Wednesday at Agthuri Railway station and Biodiversity Park, Amingaon.

N K Prasad, General Manager, N F Railway, Construction Organisation led from the front in the “Shramdaan “campaign in which all the officers and a large number of employees and their family members also actively took part with great enthusiasm for cleanliness of the premises of Agthuri Railway station where special focus was given for collection of plastic. To encourage the abandonment of plastic bags a few numbers of cotton bags were distributed among the people resided near by the station and Biodiversity Park, a press release stated.
