Coal Laden Trucks Seized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Aug 30: Illegal coal trade by the coal mafia continue to hit the media headline from time to time. In the recent case, six coal-laden trucks were seized by the police in the Beltola area of the city over the last two days. The coal-laden trucks were kept hidden from public view in by-lane No 7 and No14. While two coal-laden trucks were seized on Wednesday, 4 such trucks were seized today. The registration numbers of the trucks seized today are AS01 HC 8648, HR61 C 2348, HR47 C 2070 and AS01 HC 5324.
