Commercial institutions under North Lakhimpur to engage employee in social distancing

LAKHIMPUR: The proprietor and the owners of commercial institutions under North Lakhimpur municipal area, who have been accorded permission by the district administration to open their institutions, must engage an employee to ensure social distancing and use of sanitizers.
This order was issued by Lakhimpur district administration on Monday. According to the order, the employee must ensure the use of sanitizers by the customers before their entry into the commercial institution or the shop. He will not allow customers without face masks to enter the shop. Further, the employee must ensure the maintenance of social distancing by the customers and other rules and regulations fixed by the State Government to contain the COVID-19 contagion. Commercial institutions violating the order will be closed immediately, the Chief Executive Officer of North Lakhimpur Municipal Board informed.
