Congress banking on illegal migrants: BJP

Guwahati, July 8: National spokesperson of the BJP Nalin S Kohli took to severe criticism of the Congress and its president Rahul Gandhi while talking to media persons in Guwahati today. He alleged that the Congress has always been involved in adding to the voters' list names of illegal migrants with a view to capturing power. Such addition of names of migrants also led to a massive movement in the state, he added.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that Modi's ideology is based on performance and that as per the constitution all efforts are on to lead the nation on the path of development on the basis of 'sab ka saath, sab ka vikash'. He added that in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls the focus of the BJp would be on development on all fronts.

Criticizing Rahul Gandhi, Kohli said that the Congress chief is engaged in the politics of imagination and that Rahul would find his dreams shattered. Kohli al;so alleged that the Congress chief was engaged in spreading hatred among the people.

B4esides being a national spokesperson of the BJP, Kohli is also the convenor of the national media cell of the BJP. Accordingly, he had a meeting with the members of the state BJP media cell in Guwahati today.
