Cotton University Shines In IIT Kharagpur Spring Festival 2019

GUWAHATI: During the Spring Festival 2019 of IIT Kharagpur which is a social and cultural event held from January 24 to 27, 2019, Cotton University managed to bag the First Prize in the drama competition Rangmanch. The drama troop was led by the AGS of the University, Madhusmita Das with six student members namely Rekkibul Haque Choudhury, Taniksha Das, Maitrayee Baruah, Bandana Gogoi, Kripa Sharma and Jumeela Rani Boro. The drama was titled Suicide Note. 21 teams from varied educational institutions including IITs and NITs participated in the competition. Cotton University managed to bag the Best Lighting award as well, along with special recognition from the jury for their performance in the fashion parade displaying the varied ethnic tribes of Assam.
