Couple falls prey to Guwahati city snatchers

GUWAHATI: A husband and wife duo, BSF commandent Khanindra Chowdhury and his wife Dipan Kalita, who withdrew Rs 2 lakh from a bank and another 2 lakh 40 thousand from SBI Six Mile, were looted in broad day light.

The wife, who had another 10 thousand already in her handbag, stacked the rest of the withdrawn money in it and were crossing the road, when a biker snatched the bag. A case (654/19 U/S 392 IPC) has been registered at Dispur police station.
