Couple held; stolen articles recovered in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Hatigaon Police Station on Sunday arrested a dump owner, Zuli Ali and his wife, Meherjan Bibi from their residence in Notboma.

The raid resulted in recovery of large amounts of stolen property like brass metal and bell metal items, copper wires, bathroom fittings etc., police sources said, adding that further probe is on.
