COVID-19 positive death: Contact tracing identifies 261 persons

GUWAHATI: Contact tracing of Dipika Nath (16) who was found COVID-19 positive after her death on May 7 has identified 261 persons. Out of the total persons identified late Dipika came in direct contact with 50 persons. She had indirect contacts with 111 persons. The Health department has so far collected 82 swab collections of persons who came into direct and indirect contact with the deceased. It may be mentioned that grandmother with whom Dipika stayed in the city, is a saffai worker at B. Borooach Cancer Institute.
