COVID curfew relaxation sought during Magh Bihu

GUWAHATI: The Brihattar Guwahati Bihu Xanmilani Xomonnoy Xamity has urged the Government to relax COVID-19-related restrictions during Magh Bihu.

The latest COVID19-related SOP has imposed night curfew from 10 pm to 6 am and the Chief Minister recently requested people to leave for their homes on the night of Magh Bihu eve before the curfew begins.

The Xamity has requested the Government to declare a temporary relaxation on the restriction as was done on the night of New Year's Eve.
