GUWAHATI: Dipika Nath, the 16-year-old who was found COVID positive after her death on May 7, was not suffering from fever or any type of cold during her treatment at ESIC Model Hospital, claimed sources.

Fever is among the most common symptoms of COVID-19. Thus, it is highly unlikely the deceased was not suffering from fever. According to reports, Dipika visited the ESIS dispensary at Kalapahar on May 2 due to knee pain. Our sources at the dispensary revealed that she was not being able to walk and her body temperature was normal. After check-up she was referred to ESIC Model Hospital in Beltola. "She visited the ESIC Hospital on May 5 and consulted with an orthopedic surgeon. The doctor advised her some medications and till this period she had no symptoms of fever or cough," the source added.
