Cow Smuggler Arrested In Jorabat

Guwahati: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from the Jorabat Outpost of the Basistha Police Station on Friday arrested one Amir Uddin (20) of Samuguri at Jorabat for illegally ferrying 24 cows. The truck, which was en route to Meghalaya with the cattle, was seized. Legal action has been initiated, police sources said.
