GUWAHATI: A case of sexual harassment has been registered against a worker of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Guwahati Regional Committee at the All Women Police Station, Panbazar.

According to reports, the victim woman has alleged that she was sexually harassed by the accused - Tumujit Sinha on December 20, 2020. The case has been lodged under case number - 196/2020 u/s section 354, 354 (A) IPC and the police are interrogating Sinha. He has been suspended from the party following the allegation.
