CPI(M) to oppose Bill in Parliament

GUWAHATI, May 22: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has taken the decision to oppose the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 on the floor of the Parliament. This decision was taken in the politbureau of the party in New Delhi. This has been intimidated to by CPI(M) state committee secretary Deben Bhattacharjya. He further said any amendment brought in by the Centre on religious line would be opposed by the CPI(M). He has termed the move by the Centre as unconstitutional.
