GUWAHATI: The final photo electoral rolls of Kamrup (Metro) were officially published on Wednesday by Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha at the Conference Hall of the DC's office here.

The total number of voters in Kamrup (M) in 2022 has risen to 1,16,1467 as compared to the draft electoral roll figure of 1,15,2487 of 2021, an increase of 8,980 voters.

The total number of polling stations in the district is 1,204, spread over 517 locations. Jalukbari constituency has 243 polling stations, Dispur has 412, Guwahati East has 244 while Guwahati west has 305 polling stations.

The rolls comprise the names of 572825 male voters, 588602 female voters and 40 third gender voters. The corresponding figures in the 2021 draft rolls were 569437 male voters, 583006 female voters and 44 third gender voters.
