Department of Home shuffled Top-level police officers on February 13, 2020

GUWAHATI: The Department of Home has shuffled police officials at the top-level through a notification issued on February 13, 2020.

While DIG (CID) Mridulananda Sarma has been transferred and posted as DIG (V&AC), DIG (V&AC) MI Mandal has been transferred and posted as DIG (Trg), Dergaon. DIG (Trg) Dergaon Prashanta Kumar Bhuyan, on the other hand, has been transferred and posted as DIG (NR), Tezpur.

While Principal of PTC, Dergaon NV Chandrakant has been transferred and posted as the Assistant IGP (Admin), Guwahati against an existing vacancy, 1st APBn Commandant, Ligiripukhuri, Sivasagar Debasish Sharma has been transferred as Principal, PTC, Dergaon. IPS Gaurav Upadhyay now attached to the AP Headquarters has been posted as Assistant IGP (Logistics), Guwahati against an existing vacancy. All the postings will be effective from the date of taking charge.
