Despite reopening order most cinema halls closed in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Even though the Centre told the States to reopen cinema halls from October 15, 2020 most of the cinema halls here remained closed on Thursday.

One of the reasons behind it is the State government getting the order from the Centre very late. Anuradha Cinema hall proprietor has decided not to reopen the auditorium till December as they want to renovate the hall.

Apsara Cinema was also closed on Thursday. It will take a few more days for Cinema halls to reopen as they will have to sanitize the halls.
