DIPR appoints six candidates on compassionate ground

GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Information & Public Relations Department, Assam on Friday gave appointment letters to six candidates on compassionate ground.

In a function held at the Directorate office at Last Gate, Secretary of Information & Public Relations, Printing and Stationery Neera Gogoi Sonowal and Bishnu Kamal Borah, Director, Information and Public Relations handed over the appointment letters to the candidates.

Handing over the appointment letters, Sonowal urged the candidates to execute their duties in a disciplined and organised manner. The Director also appealed to the newly appointed candidates to carry out their duties with honesty and dedication.

Among the six candidates, one candidate has been appointed in the grade 3 post while five have been appointed in the grade 4 post. Additional Director Pradip Brahma, chief information officer Pramod Kumar Dutta, Deputy Director Pranjit Hazarika were among those present in the programme.
