District administration Kamrup (M) takes initiative for distribution of pattas

GUWAHATI: As per direction received from the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Assam; District Administration Kamrup (Metropolitan) District has constituted Five Number of Teams to carry out the identification drive of the Indigenous Landless Families and for the preparation and subsequent distribution of Pattas thereof, on a Mission Mode simultaneously in different Revenue Circles in Kamrup Metropolitan District.

The teams that have been constituted by the Deputy Commissioner V K Mittal in this regard are: Team 1for Azara Revenue Circle- To be headed by Bidyut Bikash Bhagawati, ACS, ADC, Kamrup (M). Team 2for Dispur Revenue Circle- To be headed by Khitish Chandra Pegu, ACS, ADC, Kamrup (M). Team 3for Sonapur Revenue CircleTo be headed by Ratul Pathak, ACS, ADC, Kamrup (M). Team 4 for Chandrapur Revenue Circle-To be headed by Ranjit Konwar, ACS, ADC, Kamrup (M) Team 5for Guwahati Revenue Circle-To be headed by Nabadeep Pathak, ACS, ADC, Kamrup (M).

Furthermore, each team will include the concerned Circle Officer of the respective Revenue Circle with L R Staff of their respective Revenue circles with representatives from the Forest Department, Guwahati Municipal Development Authority, Directorate of Survey, Revenue and Disaster Management Department. The teams so constituted, will physically visit the areas to examine the Kobula Petitions already received from that particular area as per programme chalked out by the Deputy Commissioner Kamrup (Metro) for finalization of the Settlement process. The detailed programme of these visits will be intimated for information of all concerned well in advance for convenience. All applicants are requested to extend their full cooperation during the visits of the Teams.
