Doley, Hussain and Paul to be quizzed today

GUWAHATI, July 3: In connection with the Bhangagarh police station case no 159/17, the Bhangagarh police quizzed APSC scam accused Basanta Doley on Tuesday inside the premise of the Guwahati Central jail. Earlier, the case was lodged by one Bedanta Bikash Das who was a candidate of the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) examination held by APSC in 2015. Das alleged that some middlemen representing the kingpin of the APSC scam asked bribe from him in the tune of Rs 15 lakh. Accordingly, on not giving the said amount he could not find a space in the final list of selection.

According to police source, the forensic report has already proved that around 27 candidates’ marks were enhanced dishonestly. Notably, on Wednesday, the Bhangagarh police will again quize the APSC cash-for-job accused trio Musaraf Husssain, Rakesh Paul and Basanta Doley at the same venue.
