Double murder case: Guwahati Police to conduct DNA test

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati police will conduct DNA tests on the body parts of the victims of the double murder case, Sankari Dey and Amarjyoti Dey. For that, it is sent to the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory). According to police sources, the Guwahati police have sent the body parts for DNA profiling after getting the court's permission.

Bondana Kalita, the accused, has already gone through a psychoanalysis test. She is in judicial custody.

According to police source, a team from the central forensic science laboratory in Delhi already came to the Guwahati central jail where they conducted the test, but the report of the test has not been received.

It may be mentioned that the police recovered some body parts suspected to be those of Amarjyoti Dey and his mother from Dawki and Cherrapunjee Road.
