Drive against violators of traffic rules in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Transport Department conducted an operation against rash driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and other traffic rule violations in the city on Saturday night.

Official sources said that fines were imposed on those found be violating traffic rules, adding that the Transport Department will get stricter against traffic-rules violators ahead of the ensuing Durga Puja.
