Drugs seized, two arrested

GUWAHATI, June 26: A team of crime branch in association with Hatigaon Police apprehended one identified as Abdul Rahman (42) from Sijubari near Khanka Mosque allegedly for trading drugs. During the raid conducted at the offender’s rented house, the team seized 3 packets weighing 30 gm of suspected drugs along with his motor cycle (Scooty). Meanwhile, a lady identified as Kujbala Devi was (61) also arrested from the rented house. Both the alleged offenders hail from Manipur.
