East Guwahati Police District held drug peddler

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Jorabat Outpost of the Basistha Police Station intercepted a truck (AS26C9193) at the Jorabat crossing on Sunday evening and arrested a drug peddler named Md Surhab Ali of Howly. Police sources said that 25.8 gm of heroin, kept in two in soap boxes, were recovered from his possession.
