A team of East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) of Jorabat Outpost under Basistha Police Station rescued 41 live cattle and three carcasses that were to be smuggled to Byrnihat.
GUWAHATI: A team of East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) of Jorabat Outpost under Basistha Police Station rescued 41 live cattle and three carcasses that were to be smuggled to Byrnihat. The team intercepted a 12-wheeler truck bearing registration number AS 19 AC 1032 at Jorabat. In this connection, Arshad Ali and Ajgar Ali, both from Abhayapuri, were arrested.
