East Guwahati Police District seized smuggled cattle in Jorabat

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Jorabat Outpost of the Basistha Police Station chased and intercepted a Tata Yodha vehicle at 14 Mile in Jorabat on Monday evening recovered eight cattle.

According to police sources, the persons in the vehicle were trying to smuggle the cattle from Nagaon to Byrnihat in Meghalaya.
