Enforcement Directorate (ED) Lodges Complaint Against 6 Persons

GUWAHATI, Aug 29: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) lodged a complaint in the Special Court, Guwahati against six persons, including officials, in connection with the Rs 94-lakh scam in the State Agriculture Department on Wednesday. The six include former chief engineer Tibra Kumar Baruah. The other five are contractor Mazahir Uddin Borbhuyan, executive engineer Fakhruddin Lashkar, junior engineer Shyama Prasad Purkayastha, assistant executive engineer Nilanjan Das and head assistant Prasanta Borgohain.
