Escalators In NF Railway Stations Soon

GUWAHATI: The NF Railway will install escalators in five different stations including Guwahati Railway Station to ensure smooth movement of passengers. Many passengers especially elderly persons face a tough time to climb stairs at railway stations. Sources said the NFR will install six escalators in Guwahati stations, two each in Katihar, Lumding and Agartala and one in Dimapur. The NFR on Friday floated tenders to award the contract to a reputed firm.
