GUWAHATI: An exhibition on topographical mapping will be organized by the Assam & Nagaland GDC, Survey of India on its office premises at Nidhi Bhawan in the Lalmati area here on Sunday as a part of the National Science Day celebration.

The theme of this year's National Science Day is 'Future of the STI: Impacts on Education, Skills and Work.'

Various instruments like GPS, Total Stations, Digital Level used in map making will be displayed and demonstrated in the exhibition. A video show on the History of Survey of India and Great Arc pertaining to the history of and achievement of the department will be displayed as a part of the exhibition, stated a release.
