Fake Claims of Creating A Movie Lands Fraud In Jail

GUWAHATI: A fraud case was reported against Hiranya Pathak, 27, of Kharguli, who was squandering money from people by proclaiming that he would be making a movie. After amassing a horde of money from various people since January 2019, the fraudster has been evading handing the borrowed money back. A case (178/19 U/S 406/420 IPC) was registered by Riya Sharma at Chandmari police station in this regard and Pathak has been taken into custody on Wednesday.
