Fake DSP arrested by Dispur Police from Jalukbari
A person impersonating as a DSP (Deputy Superintendant of Police) has been arrested by the Dispur Police from the Jalukbari area here.

GUWAHATI: A person impersonating as a DSP (Deputy Superintendant of Police) has been arrested by the Dispur Police from the Jalukbari area here. The accused has been identified as Anup Kumar Das (45) from the Dharapur area.
According to police, Das was arrested after a person named Hakimuddin lodged a complaint that the former duped him to the tune of Rs 1,70,000.
Hakimuddin said that Das introduced himself as a DSP and said that he can release the former's car which has been seized by the Traffic Branch of the Dispur Police Station. The person registered a case at the Dispur PS after the accused failed to release his car. He was arrested on Wednesday and has been sent to two-day police custody by the Court.
