Fake job racket busted; 4 held by East Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Hatigaon Police Station busted a fake job racket and arrested four cheats for duping people by promising to provide them with jobs.

Police sources identified the arrested persons as Biplab Saikia, Jyotishman Borgohain, Rahul Chutia and Biraj Changmai, adding that they have been arrested in connection with case No (314/22 u/s 406/420/419/34 IPC r/w 66 (D) of the IT Act).
