Father-daughter duo injured in machete attack in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A man and his daughter were grievously injured at the Sishu Sarathi Path in Birubari here on Saturday when they were attacked with a machete by one Dilip Singh over a property dispute.

According to police sources, Dilip Singh was arrested from the spot and the machete was seized from his possession.

The injured duo, identified as Satyabrata Bharali and Mousami Bharali, has been admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment, the sources said.
