FICCI FLO NE distributes saplings

GUWAHATI, June 6: On the occasion of the World Environment Day, FICCI FLO and the Assam Forest Department collectively distributed saplings free of cost in Guwahati for plantation.

FLO Northeast members passed the message of going green by asking all to take due care of the saplings, once planted. They have been spreading the message that all the saplings collected from nurseries be ensured of healthy survival to full maturity, a press release said. FLO Northeast also carried out plantation of 100 saplings at the Assam State Zoo to make it a greener habitat for animals. Alongside, environment-friendly plant protection devices were also provided. FICCI FLO expressed gratitude to Tejas Mariswamy, IFS, DFO, Assam State Zoo and others.
