FIR Against Appointment ‘Anomalies’ in Directorate of Information Public Relations (DIPR)

GUWAHATI: The Anti-Corruption Youth-Power, Assam (ACYPA) lodged an FIR at Dispur Police Station on Sunday demanding an investigation into, what it said, appointment anomalies in the Directorate of Information Public Relations (DIPR). According to the FIR lodged by ACYPA secretary Shyamanta Das, the written tests for various posts in the DIPR were held on March 3, 2019, and the merit list was published on the next day, i.e. on March 4, 2019. The media published the list on March 5, 2019. In its FIR, the organization expressed it suspicion over the declaration of the tests results of 30,000 candidates in one day.
