FIR lodged against Oikya Sena Asom

GUWAHATI: Four vendors – Hari Chandra Das, Kamal Das, Jeetendra Saloi and Biswanath Kalita have lodged an FIR at Bharalumukh police station on Tuesday against the Oikya Sena Asom allegedly for demanding ransom.

Stressing that the Kamrup metro district Deputy Commissioner has issued necessary permission for selling of firecrackers after due verification at 21 places in Guwahati, the vendors in its FIR said, “Several persons introducing themselves as members of the Oikya Sena Asom came to the stalls temporarily erected at Sonaram Higher Secondary School Field and started demanding money. Even they uploaded in social media objecting our permission.” Meanwhile, the Bharalumukh police registered a case (No. 910/18 u/s 384 IPC).
