FIR lodged over fake advertisement for Gauhati Medical College and Hospital jobs

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) seems to have become a favourite target of criminals, be they touts, child-lifters or fraudulent job providers. In the latest incident, the Superintendent of the GMCH has lodged an FIR at the Bhangagarh Police Station regarding a fake advertisement being circulated on the social media, which assures to provide permanent jobs at the institution to female candidates. Aspiring candidates have been informed that there will be no written test for the jobs and they will receive a salary of Rs 15,500 per month.
