Fire Breaks Out at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital

GUWAHATI: A Massive fire broke out at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) on February 5.

According to initial reports, the fire broke out in the Head of the Radiology Department room situated at the ground floor.

Officials at the hospital alleged that the fire is suspected to be caused by a computer power line.

Meanwhile, many important documents are suspected to be destroyed in the fire.

Reportedly, the fire is under control now.

The Superintendent of GMCH has directed to investigate the whole incident.
