'Fit India' cyclothon held in NF Railway complex, Maligaon

GUWAHATI: As part of the nationwide initiative under 'Fit India Movement' launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, a series of activities and events are being held starting from December 7 to 31.

A 'Fit India Cyclothon' programme was held at the NFRSA (NF Railway Sports Association) complex, Maligaon in connection with the initiative on Saturday.

The programme was flagged off by NFR General Manager Anshul Gupta in the presence of Rajendra Prasad Jingar, NFRSA president apart from all participants and well wishers. He advised all participants about the need to remain fit in today's hectic life schedule. He also mentioned about the clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to all countrymen in this regard.

The NFRSA has been encouraging the 'Fit India' movement by holding different events time to time to inculcate the habit of remaining physically fit. More such events will be organized by the NFRSA to future also to promote fitness, stated a release.
