Five Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya Noonmati students score highest marks in Maths

GUWAHATI: After a long delay due to COVID-19 triggered lockdown, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) finally declared the results of the HSLC (Class 10) examination on Saturday.

Like every year, the students of Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya, Noonmati performed overwhelmingly in the HSLC exams. As many as 5 students secured the highest marks in the State in the General Maths subject and 8 in Advance Maths subject.

A total of 127 candidates appeared in the exams out of which 50 got letter marks in Assamese. Among other subjects where students secured letter marks –English -59, General Science-60, Social Science-49, and General Mathematics-68.

All the students passed in the exams out of which 37 received Distinction marks, 39 received Star marks, 111 secured 1st Division, and 16 secured 2nd Division. It is to be mentioned that, the school's student Ananya Medhi, secured the 9th rank in the State.
