Former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta in Hospital

GUWAHATI, Jan 16: Former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta was admitted to a city hospital on Friday night for gastritis.

According to doctors, Mahanta is taken ill with gastritis. "Theirs is nothing to worry. He's a bit weak, but stable," the doctor said.

Mahanta was also admitted to the hospital in September 2020 also.

A number of his colleagues rushed to the hospital as soon as his ailment came to the news.
