Former honorary secretary of Assam Football Association Ankur Dutta’s bail plea rejected

GUWAHATI: The Court of Sessions Judge, Kamrup (Metro) on Friday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Ankur Dutta, former honorary secretary of the Assam Football Association. Dutta made a plea for an anticipatory bail in connection with a case (645/2019) under Section 420 of IPC filed in Paltan Bazar Police Station. Dutta faced the charge of irregularities and misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 37 lakh.
