Former Mayor Abir Patra passes away

GUWAHATI, June 15: The former Guwahati Mayor Abir Patra died in a city hospital this morning. Late Patra was undergoing treatment for the past few days. He served Guwahati as its Mayor from 2013 to 2016. The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of late Patra at the Rajiv Bhawan, Guwahati.
