Fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37 lakh from MP Pradan Baruah's account

GUWAHATI: An amount of Rs 37 lakh was fraudulently withdrawn from the account of MP Pradan Baruah. According to reports, the account is from an SBI branch in New Delhi.

In this regard, Baruah lodged a complaint at Bhangagarh Police Station on Friday. Accordingly, a case — (413/21) U/S 420 IPC r/w 66 of IT Act — has been registered. The investigation is on.
