Free anti-rabies vaccination drive conducted across Assam
To observe the occasion of World Zoonoses Day, JBF (Just Be Friendly), a Guwahati-based social sector organization provided free anti-rabies vaccination to cats and dogs at 11 different locations across Assam on Tuesday.

GUWAHATI: To observe the occasion of World Zoonoses Day, JBF (Just Be Friendly), a Guwahati-based social sector organization provided free anti-rabies vaccination to cats and dogs at 11 different locations across Assam on Tuesday.
The drive was conducted in support and association with government authorities and private stakeholders at all the locations viz Pet Home Clinic and JIVA (Justice in valuing animal) at Duliajan, Vet Zone Veterinary Clinic at Teok, State Veterinary Dispensary at Gogamukh, Golaghat Veterinary Hospital at Golaghat, R D Pet Shop at Tezpur, R K Pet clinic at Nagaon, Pro-Life Vet Care at Bongaigaon, Tangla Veterinary Clinic at Tangla, Digaru Veterinary Outlet at Sonapur, Little Paws Clinic at Bongora, and Sudhriti Veterinary clinic at Mirza.
Chief Functionary of JBF Dr Sashanka Sekhar Dutta expressed his gratitude to all the supporters and associates for the successful drive. He also added that JBF has been working towards the eradication of rabies since day one and is planning to conduct bigger drives in the coming days to achieve the ultimate goal of a Rabies-free society, stated a release.
