Free Ayurvedic health camp organized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A Free Ayurvedic Health Awareness-cum-Check-up Camp was organized on Sunday by the Ayurvedic Medical Organization (AMO), Assam and Shri Bajrang Ayurved Bhawan, Guwahati in association with Pub-Madhab Deb Nagar Unnayan Samiti in Maligaon here, stated a press release.

More than 100 patients were checked and given free Ayurvedic medicines. Blood sugar levels of all needy patients were also checked at the camp.

A doctors' team, comprising Ayurvedic specialist Dr Dipti Rekha Sarma, Dr Vivek Sarma, Dr Samir Sapcota, Dr Poonam Sarma, Dr Mriganka Mishra, Dr Nabaruna Bose, Nikhilesh Das, Dr Simanta Nath, attended the health camp.

The AMO was formed for promotion and propagation of Ayurveda. The AMO is undertaking various social activities like organizing free health check-up and awareness camps, along with conferences, workshops and seminars for the benefit of the public.
