Fugitive woman held by Police in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A woman named Makon Kakati, who had fled from the custody of the Dispur police on July 1, was arrested by the Garchuk police on Tuesday.

According to police sources, Kakati has been handed over to the Dispur police.

It may be mentioned that Makon Kakati had been arrested by the Dispur police from the Six Mile area on charges of assault and was being taken for medical examination when she had escaped.
