Gang of thieves arrested in Geetanagar

GUWAHATI: A midnight operation by Geetanagar police, led by Officer Pranjit Thakuria, led to the discovery of a thief, Saidul Ali. After a whole night investigation, the other 7 members of the group of thieves were caught from different locations.

The robbers Ramesh Kumar Yadav, Manirul Islam, Sahidul Ali, Manoj Chowdhury, Shekharuddin Ali and Alom Sikhar, have been taken into police custody. 11 mobile phones and a Scooty (AS 01 BN 5889) have been recovered from their possession.
