Gauhati High Court Advocates’ Association (GHCAA) To Hold Nationwide Protest

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court Advocates’ Association (GHCAA) stated that a meeting was held by the Bar Council of India (BCI) was held on February 2, 2019, to discuss the welfare measures for the lawyers and litigate public of the country. The meeting expressed strong anguish over inaction on the previous promise by the PM of India on March 1, 2014, for the fulfilment of demands.

All Bar Associations shall hold a nationwide protest march at respective Headquarters on February 12, 2019, from 12.30 pm in view of their demands. The various demands include adequate building and accommodation for lady advocates, insurance for lawyers, etc.
