Gauhati University 6th semester exams to start from June 20

GUWAHATI: The 6th Semester examinations for all streams - Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational - of the Gauhati University (GU) will start from June 20.

According to GU officials, the examinations will have multiple-choice questions to provide some relief to the students in view of incomplete syllabi due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, GU's Controller of Examinations has issued a notice recommending that an absolute grading system be adopted for all under-graduate examinations under the university starting from the pandemic period (March, 2020).
